The term Content Management System, or simply, CMS, has nearly become a household term. StartPoint is not a CMS, though the functions of a traditional CMS are one part of its design.

A Website Management System (or WMS), like StartPoint, is a single, unifying point for managing all of the myriad of highly useful, but not normally easily integrated, web-based applications and services that corporations, organizations and even individuals need.
